Randomized confessions..

14 years ago when "Joe" and I decided to marry, we were not in good shape financially. He was a struggling resident and I finished med school with about $65,000 in debts. My parents owned an inn and Joe's cousin is a travel agent so we were able to have a nice wedding/honeymoon. However, I have always been disappointed about the ring/proposal.

When Joe's parents divorced, his mom sold her engagement ring. It was a huge rock! She split the money into thirds (about $7,000) and put it in bank accounts so that her sons could buy very nice engagement rings when they were ready to marry. However, Joe was nervous about spending the money on a ring. He asked me would I be willing to wear his great-grandmother's ruby engagement band until we could afford to add a diamond solitaire. I said yes. (He used the ring money from his mom to help pay bills while I tackled my med school loans.)

In the end, there was no formal proposal. We just picked the ring up from the bank safety deposit box. Joe handed it to me and I guess I just tried to put it on. It was a little too small so we went to the jeweler and left it to be sized. I figured Joe would do something romantic when he picked it up a few days later, but he just left it on the coffee table.

Today, we are both debt free and making good money. Joe has a successful private practice and I am the head of surgery at a small hospital. We have three beautiful kids. Joe's grandfather has given them a generous trust so their private school and college education is set. After my father's death, my mom moved into the inn full-time and gave us my childhood home, so we don't have a mortgage.

I've been hoping for a diamond for several years now. And I haven't really kept it a secret. Most women I know get a diamond anniversary band with 10 small stones for the 10th anniversary. A friend mentioned to Joe that her new beau is a discount diamond merchant in the hopes he'd take the hint. I got a new deep freeze (something I didn't want, by the way).

I can't understand why Joe is so reluctant to spend the $7,000 now that we can afford it.

  • I've had a recurring daydream lately that I would be laid up in a hospital bed for weeks. A young hot nurse keeps taking care of me. Finally I ask her if she would sit on my chest and allow me to suck her little clit. She climbs up on me and I lick and suck for all I'm worth until she is moaning in orgasm.

although i am months away from receiving my bachelors and becoming a career woman i cant help but realize what my true dream life would be. all i have ever wanted to be is a house wife. i want to submit muself to my husbands every wish and desire. all i ask in return is a comfortable life in which we never are without. i want to awaken to my beautiful home in the suburbs and have nothing but pleasing my man on my mind. i want to devote myself to a man who can be forceful yet gentle because after all, i am his little kitten, always at his feet. i want my man to shower me with love and devotion but always has a sense of authority over me.

I have a crush on this guy named Robert. I totally want to sleep with him, or at least play around a bit. I really wouldn't care what he did to me. Just looking at him makes me want to go up and kiss him. Its really bad. I'm going to his best friends house friday. Oh my God I hope that he is there. I hope that we hook up. I hope that everything goes great. The only problem is that he hasn't ever done anything bad in his life. No drinking, no sex (not even dating), no smoking, nothing. Not that I'm really bad. He would be the first person I have ever slept with too. So how do I get him to notice me?

  • This just goes to show that sleep CAN be good for your memory.

I was studying for a Physics final last term. In the middle of it all - I accidentally fell asleep. I had convinced myself that it would be perfectly okay for me to study while sitting upright in bed. (this suggestion was no doubt whispered by the devil sitting on my other shoulder).

Normally under such circumstances - I would be in an absolute panic because I slept all through the night and almost up to the test time so that I have precious little time even to make it there.

But somehow - I had studied in my sleep. With all my books piled on top of me and notes scattered around me - I ended up in this very strange dream where all these mathematical formulas were floating around my head in a very intricate dance. Each formula took on a life of it's own and created vivid color after images of what each one meant.

Mechanics formulas were rolling down a hill - converting their potential energy into kinetic energy. Angular momentum formulas raced around in circles on a steeply banked road.

When I woke up - I felt refreshed and oddly well informed.

I got an A on the final.

I had a similar experience last night...

    I think I need a vacation...
