I know sex dreams are a common thing among many people, but damn, does anyone ever get some really vivid ones? I feel like I woke up from one reality to my own reality feeling like my dream actually happened. Those are called "lucid dreams". They are literally a product of you mind creating very detailed story.

I have had 3 in my life:
1-very young wherein I was shot. I awoke to find that in reality the places I had been shot in my dream were large, circular, red welts.
2-in high school. Sexual dream of one of my sister's friends. To this day I cannot be sure it didn't happen, other than, there was no way for it to happen and I awake in the same situation you described--the entire leg of my pajamas was slimy wet and the entire mid section of the bed.

On our wedding day, her wedding dress and veil was the exact one in the dream and her hair was done exactly as I had seen it in the dream.

All 3 of those are real and stated exactly as I dreamed them and the events that transpired.

I wonder too. I mean I don't think we have those dreams because we want them to actually happen or even thought about it. I'm quite sure that you didn't want to be shot.

Anyway, mine was a couple nights ago. My step-daughter fell asleep on our bed. I went to carry her to her room. She was asleep but somehow conscious. I am poster #1 for the OP, I know lucid dreams do not need to be something desired, I have very vivid dreams all the time, but the ones I would consider lucid, are rare... they are so vivid that reality cannot be determined in or out of the dream (except by deduction and reason)

The influence of actual event is very common: I have awakened to the vivid dream of fucking, and I was literally in bed fucking my wife as in the dream. This went on for years.
