I'm bi female and I find straight acting gay men getting kissing arousing, I've no idea why I just do, gues I must be repressed in some weird way.....

My girlfriends completely gay and she says that men don't arouse her at all.

I know that quite a few straight guys like the idea of girls getting together and some straight girls get off on gay porn.

So I just wanted to go round the full circle and ask if gay men found the thought of gay girls, or even straight couples arousing?

I know there are no general rules and this stuffs personal preference mainly. sexuality's fluid and it's most likely no one's completely gay or straight so this questions probably logically flawed, but i was just looking for some independent opinions :)

we must accept all aspects of "us" as a group. thats means try not say straight acting it sounds homophobic. some of us should set a good example

Sorry, didn't mean to cause offence, I could have probably put it better. I just meant to say straight acting as in not being effeminate, I guess that makes the assumption that being gay goes hand in hand with acting camp which is obviously isn't true.
I think its hard to define gender roles. In my question I was just trying to find if there was some kind of logic to attraction, cos i think on some level it must be about self projection: For example type "fanfiction" into any search engine and you'll find allot of gay orientated porn, mostly written by heterosexual woman.

Some straight women like gay porn, like some straight men like lesbian porn. Straight implies no interest whatsoever in the same gender, homosexual implies the reverse. Therefore they wouldn't - assuming they are fully 100% homosexual - be aroused by opposite sex (even if it was homosexual encounters of the opposite gender) intimacy of any form. But in reality, so few are purely homosexual/ heterosexual - because that would include no interest platonically in others that fell out of whichever category. Sexual orientation, as well as gender, aren't set in stone. We label to generalize, because as humans its hard to grasp spectrums and makes our lives easier. But for all intents and purposes, someone 'truly' gay or straight could not get off to someone of the opposite gender or same gender respectively. Overrated as labeling is, personally I'm pansexual - though I find few people seem to know what it means. It's similar to bisexuality, but includes in it an attraction to transsexuals as well.

We get what you mean with "straight-acting". I don't think it's homophobic at all. There are guys acting more girly and that's OK. But let's not ignore the elephant in the room.
I'm bisexual, so I do enjoy the visuals ;)
