Join the club. Actually, once she almost died of hypothermia and had to go to assisted living, her mental health increased dramatically. As my husband said, living alone in that house in self imposed exile made her depression worse, and impossible to be around. Who would have thought almost dying was the best thing that almost happened to her.

Mine is a selfish old hag that has backstabbed me one to many times! I can't even hear her voice without cringing!!! My husband is on the phone with the whine bag now! The thought of the upcoming holidays is making my stomach turn.

I empathise with you all - mine is a fucking bitch. She is full of bitterness and hatred and cant stand it that her son is now happy. She treats her son like shit and I hope the old bitch has a nasty, untimely death (hopefully soon).

I didn't mean that I hope your mother in law dies, I was talking about my mother in law and in fact, I was just feeling really pissed about her when I wrote my thread and dont actually hope she dies in reality. Sorry for any confusion there
