I remember one Halloween when I was a kid. I ate way too much candy in spite of my mom telling me it would make me sick. Well guess what? The next morning I woke up with a raging belly ache. But I didn't want to admit she was right so I didn't say anything. I just went on to school and tried to hide it. The bus ride was pure misery and by the time I got to class my poor stomach felt awful. Finally, I couldn't stand it anymore. I grabbed my stomach and started to cry. The teacher called me up to her desk to see what was the matter. I stood up and started walking toward her desk and BLEECH, I started barfing. Every few steps I would puke some more. I sat near the back and I left this little trail of puke up the whole aisle. It is funny looking back now but at the time, puking repeatedly in front of the class was so embarrassing. Likewise, having to wait in the nurse office for my mom to come say I told you so.
