I proudly support the president. I proudly support the republican party. I don't care if you disagree with me and I don't care that he has a "reputation" for making up words. He probably only did that once and ppl make a big deal out of it. The myth that John Kerry had purple hearts??? He was shooting a rock in the army when he had been clearly notified NOT TO and it bounced back and hit him. The myth that John Kerry had better grades than Bush? not so much. School records reveal Bush had much better grades. I just feel so put out sometimes. If so many ppl voted for Bush, why does it seem so many ppl hate him now? Is there NO ONE that is willing to say, I support my president, and all his decisions? I do.

People, generally speaking are idiots. They tend to follow the pack like sheep, and when the pack started Bush bashing the sheep followed along. George is ok by me too. Not perfect mind you; he sure pissed me off when he vetoed the stem cell research bill, but hey couple more yrs, George will be gone and I very much doubt it won't get through next time.

yeah I don't think he's perfect, pretty much no one is. I just hope Hillary Clinton is never elected president. that would really suck.

Well, I fucking hate Bush! I hate him so much, I voted for Kerry, who was as luckluster as you could get, just because I hate Bush so much! I hate his ideas that you can judge the health of a socciety by the success of its' apex, while the American middle and working classes have steadily eroded under his mismanagement. I hate how he dragged us into this war on the false pretext that Saddam Hussein was somehow conected to 911. I hate his religion (no, I'm not opposed to Christianity - just the wrong type of Cristianity, ie the religious right evangelical movement), because it's sudden growth on the cultural scene represents the emergence of religious fundementalism all over the globe (particularly Islam). I hate his veto of stem cell research (my Dad died of diabetes, something that might one day be cured with this invaluable research), again because of his fucked up religious beliefs.
I expect you Bush lovers to call me all sort of foul names, and counter everything I wrote with shit drawn your own neo-con ideology, when you're done sucking Bush's asshole. And I could rant and rave my own oppinions about that prick, but I've got a life and things to do, so I gotta go.

Well, George is my cousin, so I must back him even if I don't always approve (stem cell..ect.)
Pack instinct is right. I wish I could start a movement to get the damn USA bashers the hell out of here!
Yes, protest and march to be heard, but there are some things this country must do to keep intact and in power, like it or not.
Are people dying worth it? Well, for a greater good of all...well, yes. My grandfather saw many friends die in front of his eyes in WW2, but he could not imagine his country in the hands of communists. Much like I cannot see this country in the hands of terrorists.

There are some things we must do. We can vote again if we don't like how things are done, but the public spoke....TWICE.

In the first election (2000) Al Gore got over 500,000 more votes than Bush....but thanks to our archaic electoral college, lost the election. In the second, Kerry lost Ohio which cost him the election. The Iraq war has been mismanaged from the beginning, and now the Taliban is retaking most of Afghanistan because we don't have enough troops there. We have fought the Iraq war on the cheap, and we are now paying for it. The jihadis there have gotten bolder, not more reticent, and unless we up our troop strength, it will descend into total chaos within a year or so.

<I>"Well, George is my cousin"</I>

Well, apparently the stupid gene runs through the family completely.

Actually, I didn't <I>loath</I> Bush 41. He was a true <I>statesman</I>, especially compared to his knee-jerk impulsive, reactionary, mob mentality, "born again" braindead son.

Bush 43 wouldn't even have made a good quickee-mart employee. He is a product of a VERY priviledged set of circumstances made possible by random chance at birth.

george bush is the most corrupt president since warren harding, the most incompetent since ulysses s. grant, and far more criminal and destructive to our nation's civil rights and basic safety than nixon.

His team violated campaign laws egregiously in both elections. He ignored terrorism in the first 9 months of his administration, which directly led to 9/11. He turned the war on terror into a political club to push through tax cuts for his rich friends. the US Supreme Court has ruled he is breaks US law daily by wiretapping US citizens and running concentration camps at Guantanamo and in Eastern Europe.

I would love to have been wrong about him. I would love to be able to agree with his assertions - that his adventure in iraq keeps us safer here, that his methods of spreading freedom will make the world safer. but his claims are at best deluded and at worst they're just cynical political posing, designed to please his richest cronies. If 20 years from now it turns out I was wrong and his actions have actually made the world safer then I will apologize gladly. But I doubt I'll have to apologize, because either history will expose his administration's crimes, or there won't be an America anymore.
