My youngest sister passed away some years back leaving me with her 11 year old daughter my favorite niece. I know I'm not supposed to have favorite but she has had no one else other than her mom in her life.
Ruth is the youngest of all us kids while growing up and is reality is our only step sister. Mom Linda is dads second wife after our real mom was killed in an accident at her work place. I have two older sisters I am the only boy. Jess is 15 years older than me and Carol is 19 years older. I'm 2 years older than Ruth. We were very close because of our ages. When dad married Carol my room became our room for Ruth and myself. By the time the two older girls were gone and Ruth got their room we missed each other very much. After Ruth passed with cancer Kristen and I went through hell together and really only had each other. Both older sister were still alive and so was dad. The close love was only with each other. Three days each way and we danced all the dancers together. Everyone thought we were the best father daughter.
