Is there such a thing as a weekend lesbian. I am asking because for the last several months my best friend and I have been getting together on weekends. We work and live on opposite sides of town now so we talk all week and rush to get together on the weekend. And oh does it feel so good to wrap my arms around her.

No, there is no such thing. If you have an attraction to males, acted on or not, then you are bisexual. If you only seek relationships with females, then you are lesbian. The weekend attraction is that of permission and availability, rather than, some type of sexual preference change.

I don't know about weekend lesbians, I do know about long distance lesbians. My best friend from college who I roomed with all the way thru graduate school lives on one side of the country and I live on the other side of the country. All during school we were best friends, friends. Now, we get to see each other two or three times a year. We do not get out of bed or go out. We cannot let go, we kiss and cry when we have to let go, I hold her and tell her I love her, she sends me g*fts with crazy letters. I never dreamt that I would want to kiss with her, and kiss her there nor that I would love letting her kiss me there. I think that you are lesbians when you can't stop kissing her private parts. If that is the definition we are bona fide lesbians looking for jobs so we can be together.

Weekend Lesbian, Bi-Sexual female, Bona fide Lesbian ...
hmmm... which am I?... and what's a girl to do?

This is what a girl should do.
Have great sex as much and as often as possible.
Life can change fast and your trysts can become just a memory in a heartbeat.

Your weekend relationship should be whatever you and your friend WANT IT TO BE.
It doesn't have to have a label.
It might be better for now if it doesn't.
If you're into guys too and find the right one, wow, it can be even better.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the first two comments, even though they're trying to honestly answer your question.
My point here is that your question is unnecessary, subjective, and could lead to confusion

If you're having a wonderful time, enjoy.
The buzzkill comes when you start analyzing it, make it fit into a slot.

Why is it necessary for sexuality to have a precise category?
I'm 65 and I've participated in, watched, read, or knew someone who has had sex in just about every way you can think of.

As an example of labels, the LGBT community has now created so many official sub-categories it's dizzying. They are trying to cover every particular kink to the point that the labels confine and confuse. IMO, some are beginning to lose sight of the real value of the general freedom in our society they now have that until just recently they really did not.

Two women is a beautiful thing.
Three women is a beautiful thing.
One woman is a beautiful thing.

Talk to your friend.
But if you're both having a wonderful time, does what you call it even matter?

TBH, wish I knew you two. Would sure love to watch.

Oh, but is that creepy or naughty?
No matter, as that still makes me an official 'Voyeur'

Or maybe 'Voyeur of Lesbians'
No, wait ! 'Voyeur of Bi-sexual females who just hook-up on weekends'

Or, I would hope to be 'Voyeur of Bi-sexual females who both shave'
lololo

See what I mean?
The labels are endless.

Just enjoy.
Wish you both the best.
