I have only tried masturbating a few times and last time I did I was whipped with a belt. I was raised with the belief that girls and women aren't supposed to masturbate, that that's something only boys are allowed to do, and while I don't hold anyone else to that belief I do still believe that.

I do believe that as a woman I should not masturbate, but even if I didn't believe that I feel that as an adult woman I don't have any real reason to masturbate. I work, I have more important things to do with my time, and I don't have a penis so when I'm aroused it's not super uncomfortable or visible to others.

But as an adult this belief has started making a lot more sense to me than it did when I was younger. I am not in a relationship right now, but I am looking for a man which I don't think I would be if I were to masturbate regularly, becoming aroused without pleasuring myself makes me want a man more.

When I have been in a relationship, my belief has brought me closer to my boyfriend. Being aroused makes me think of them, not pleasuring myself makes me want them more, and since I only orgasm during sex with them it makes me appreciate them more.

And on the other side of the coin, believing that only men should masturbate, aside from the reasons above I.e. physical discomfort and arousal being visible to others, it makes sense to me because in my experience men become aroused much more often and going for long periods without relief can be physically painful. When I'm in a relationship with a man I want him to pleasure himself when he needs to, I like knowing he's experiencing that pleasure, and I like giving him reasons to think of me when he does it. I came home while my last boyfriend was masturbating one time, he was looking at pictures of me that I had sent him. I laid next to him on the bed and kissed him while he pleasured himself and after he finished we had dinner and went to bed.

I'm not entirely sure why I'm making this confession I guess except that I think other people I know in real life would think I was weird so I don't really tell them about it, but I wanted to say it somewhere. I believe that women shouldn't masturbate, I don't masturbate, this belief has worked well for me, it makes sense to me, and I don't see it changing any time soon. If what I've said makes sense to you, if my confession here has convinced you to believe this too, let me know below I guess. Like I said before I don't hold anyone else to this, but it would make me happy to learn that I've changed someone's mind or that someone else already believes like I do.

Hmm, I mean I guess it makes sense. I mean, I don't know if I'd say that women SHOULDN'T masturbate but I mean what you're describing sounds like it would work for me. I can't go more than a few days without masturbating though, how could I stop entirely?

Poor girl, you believe all this nonsense men have told you. Physical discomfort, painful without release, aroused more often, all bullshit invented by men to make you have sex with them. Your beliefs make you a good little slut though, ftw.

If you were asked for your totally honest opinion about female masturbation and women who masturbate what would you say? Not whether it should be done, whether they should do it, or whether you would hold them to your standards as you say, but what you think deep down about the act of female masturbation and about women who masturbate, how do you feel about those two things individually?

I like your belief. I feel you would be a one man woman and not mixed up and confused by today's whining women's views. Will you marry me?

#1 I don't know. If you're used to masturbating regularly you might need help. I've heard a chastity belt works for some people. I was spanked when I was younger, so if you have someone who would be willing to spank you for masturbating then that might work. It might also help if you fully embrace the idea that women shouldn't masturbate. If you believe it's okay for women in general to masturbate then when you want to masturbate you'll think oh well it's not wrong for me to do this, I'll do it this once and go back to trying not to masturbate tomorrow. Don't give yourself that excuse, if you believe it's wrong for women to masturbate then when you feel the urge you'll think no, I shouldn't do this it's wrong, and even if you can't resist doing it then you know you've done something wrong.

#2 While it may be true I don't know for sure since I don't have a penis, I trust the men in my life, even those I haven't been in a relationship with, who have said that going without at least masturbating for long periods has been painful. But when I say physical discomfort I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about someone with a penis wearing pants getting an erection and having it strain against their pants, or similar situations. Again, I don't have a penis, but that looks super uncomfortable to me and when I've seen it happen they've looked really uncomfortable.

#3 Well, as I said above I feel that it's pointless and a waste of time, and for most people I would leave it at that. But if someone pressed me for my deepest feelings about it I admit it kinda grosses me out, too, and it seems childish to me. Like picking your nose. Imagine if there was an entire industry devoted to making and selling brightly colored toys for people to pick their noses with and that's kind of how I feel about masturbation and sex toys, at least the ones specifically for masturbation, using sex toys during sex is fun. As for how I feel about women who masturbate? If that's information I know about them when I meet them I might avoid shaking their hand, first off. But, as I said I feel like they're childish. I also feel like they're probably less organized, though I don't know if I'd go so far as to say they're less competent. Otherwise though, I mostly just hope that they stop.

#4 I posted this on an anonymous confession website because I don't want this confession connected to me in real life, and arranging to meet someone in person let alone marry them would kind of defeat the purpose. That said, I also don't think you would really like me if that's how you felt about it, I mean if you just wanted a woman who refused to masturbate then I could see that, but aside from this I'm pretty liberal/feminist.

I believe the same as you do, my girlfriend knows she's not allowed to masturbate as long as she's with me, and because of that she's always ready to fuck when I am. She knows I masturbate, too, but she doesn't complain.

My wife doesn't masturbate either unless it's with me and I help her. She says it just doesn't excite her to touch her sex alone, even when she's really horny. She says that even just vibing it out in front of me feels better than doing it alone, so over the years she's taken to only doing that as part of our play each time we have sex. Lucky me!

What you're saying makes sense to me but I don't know if I'd be able to convince my wife. How would you suggest I get her to stop masturbating? If it helps, we've toyed with the idea of bondage in the past.

I take it a step further. I don't believe women should orgasm at all, so of course I don't masturbate but during sex I make it all about him. If I feel like I'm going to orgasm I bite my lip or pinch myself, or if I don't think I can stop it I'll start sucking his dick instead, or ask him to fuck my ass. If I do orgasm, whether during sex or from a wet dream which happens sometimes too, I punish myself by taking an ice bath and rubbing my pussy with pepper juice. The last time I had to do that was over 3 years ago and I never have to do it again.

To me sex is about bringing pleasure to a man. Being aroused prepares a woman's body for sex and her mind for pleasing men. Whether I'm aroused or not I will do whatever my husband's into, but when I'm aroused it's much easier to be comfortable doing things I'd usually be grossed or weirded out by. Once I have an orgasm it's even harder to be ready for those things than it is when I'm simply not aroused. Therefore I should not orgasm.

For instance, an example I hope won't disgust anyone, my husband likes me to hold live bait worms in my mouth and on my face while we have sex sometimes, and usually before he cums he wants me to chew and eat a few of them. I know they are harmless but I don't like the feeling of them crawling on me let alone in my mouth, and eating them disgusts me. When I'm not aroused it's difficult to keep from gagging. If I try to do it right after an orgasm I will throw up. While I am aroused, however, I can almost kind of enjoy it. At least while I am aroused I enjoy doing it because he likes it.

Anyway, that's what makes sense to me and that's why I believe women should not orgasm.

#6 That's good! I'm glad to hear it, keep doing whatever it is you're doing. I would like to hear your point of view/how that works for you and your girlfriend if you're willing to share.

#7 I'm also glad to hear that. It sounds like your wife knows what's going on, I'd like to hear how she feels about it/whether she believes women shouldn't masturbate or if she just incidentally isn't into masturbating. Either way I'm happy for you and your wife.

#8 That's a tough one. But I've thought it over. It's probably best not to approach it directly, don't suggest to her that she stop masturbating right off the bat let alone that you believe women overall should not masturbate. You mention bondage so perhaps my advice to the woman above might be more practical for you. What I would do in your position is try to introduce chastity play along with whatever else you're trying. Convince her that her being in chastity, being denied, turns you on. It might take a while but over time you might be able to convince her to stop masturbating, or try to, with the idea that that's part of what turns you on, at which point I would suggest trying spanking as a punishment for masturbation to reinforce it.

I want to know however, how important is it to you that she stop masturbating? If you believe strongly that women and especially your wife should not masturbate, then ultimately either you should take a hard stance on this and insist that she stop, or leave her and find someone who will respect your belief. If it's not that important to you, then it's not worth risking your marriage to convince her and you should be careful and stop trying if she pushes back.

#9 That is interesting and I'm very happy for you and your husband. I don't know that I would be willing to forgo orgasm entirely, let alone punish myself as harshly as you punish yourself for it, but I think I might take a page or two from your book. Next time I'm with someone I will try to avoid having an orgasm during sex and focus on his pleasure.

My g/f masturbates several times a day, even in the office under her desk or in the lady's room. I love watching her enjoy herself. We often start our sex by watching each other masturbate and we do it on the phone a lot. We're enjoying ourselves and find normal sexual release, now, in our 20's as healthy. We do not have the hang-ups and phony, unnatural attitudes about human sexuality.
