When my wife and I flew out to Japan to visit the in-laws we flew long-haul and it must have given me the flu cause a few days into the holiday I was stricken down with flue like symptoms. My wife was so mad with me as we were due to visit her sister but I said I couldn't go. She was adamant there was nothing wrong with me and said she would take my temperature. So off she went to get the thermometer. Now, as it was so hot and humid I was lying face down naked under the blanket and still sweating, she came in and I saw the thermometer and weakly lifted my head and opened my mouth. My wife voilently threw back the blanket and I wondered what was happening. I felt something cold and gooey at my tail-end and asked her what was happening, the next thing I felt a rectal thermometer going inside me! She took my temp. and said I was fine but if I liked I could etiher go to her sisters or she would check up on me every 1/2 hour. I went to her sisters!
