Anyways, the embarrassing part happened many months after I told him I liked him. He kept his distance and tried to stop me from liking him by saying out loud to some people that he was in a relationship. Unfortunately, his efforts didn't work because my naive self thought he was trying to make me jealous. Then, near the end of school, he made it loud and clear what his intentions were. I overheard him saying to this other guy in choir "ha-ha I got your myspace message! Your right about it being hella fast to be in a relationship. But its ok, I like him like hella, and he asked me so yeah! Don't tell anyone! Only you guys know. I don't want the same thing happening twice!"
I felt my heart hit the floor and I walked to nutrition break laughing uncontrollably in disbelief. Two hours later I went to class and all his signs hit me like a lightning rod to my brain. Many memories streamed through my mind and I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs for making this huge mistake. Letting myself be heart broken because I was too infatuated to see the obvious signs. Signs which I will point out right now that should have been obvious from the get go. (1)"OMG lets go shopping girls...I can shop till I drop!" (2)"You know what the worst thing is? When you break a nail that's the worst thing." (3)His shaking of the hips and elegant walk (4)When he found out i liked him last December his reply was "This always happens to me. Every time I pick a girl to be nice to and pick a certain girl...this always happens to me. They end up liking me! I mean...with guys it's ok but with girls it's just different." (5)The way he acts: very cheery and overexcited about everything. TO ME: "Girl.....you have too much glitter on you!" (6)How he always has talks with girls in our choir class and dishes gossip and secrets.
I really hope I get my gaydar fixed because that experience was absolutely mortifying!
