I have almost no sex life in real life, so I go online to live vicariously through other people's lives. If I am honest about who I am, I can't get anyone to talk to me, so I decided to pretend to be someone younger and more atttractive.

Well it worked to some extent. I can get people to talk to me about what we might do together sexually and it is exciting. But I am lying about who I am and what I will do. One guy I talked to discovered that I was lying and naturally got very angry about it. I told him that I was sorry many times, but there is not much else I can do. I can't take back the lying or anything. What do I do to pay for my lying?

Honestly...there really is someone out there for you, and honesty is the best policy..I am an not to attractive, somewhat overweight, thick eyeglasses guy who's HIV positive, and I met a great guy online by being totally honest and up front... It is going on 4 years now that we are together...Keep the faith, stop lying see what happens, join up on guys4men and see what happens

My friend you seem to be doing fine here being up front and honest so how does it feel? There are truly open ,kind ,honest and loving people out there who would love to get to know the real you. You see being yourself is like giving gold to someone because it takes trust. I have advanced from online to real time coffee meet ups. I have learned if I throw it all out there from the start relationships work the best. It sure feels good when you find out that the person you like enjoys the same type of activities that I do. Being HIV+ may mean you can find someone who is much like yourself looking for someone to support them through that process too. Be strong just like you are here and you will do fine.
