I`m not keen on mine either....seems that if you dont like or even hate your own mother its like sacrilege and no one wants to talk about it.
Dont worry....mines a really bad person. She`s selfish to the extreme and will trample on any of us (her children) to get whatever it is she wants. Currently I am seeing a Psychologist to help me with the multitude of issues caused by having 'her' as a mother.
I have to laugh really because I`m supposed to think myself lucky because we recently found out we have two other siblings from a previous marriage....a brother and sister. She dumped them in an orphanage so she could build a life with my now dead father.....she was pregnany with my eldest brother. It was during the second world war and there doesnt seem as if there were time for scruples.
Well the brother comitted suicide and the sister who we managed to find has been welcomed by myself and another sister.....as for my mother??? She`s been a total bitch to her.
Its wierd....we all only get one mother...just one. The word Mother evokes wonderful warm cared for feelings in many people.....with me and obviously you this is not so.
With mine you see this 86 year old old lady and you just immedietly suppose she`s gonna be lovely and sweet..... what a joke!!!!!
To all you non participators and observers be thankful for your mums.....average is good....good is f--king fantastic.

Well my gf's mother died bout 5 months back and she seems to no longer bitch about her like she did when she was alive. Now she cries a lot saying her mother used to be her best friend.

You should not ever say something like that about your mom. Maybe she gets on your nerves all the time, but you never know you have something until you lose it. I mean, really, who brought you into this world and gave you the gift of life? Your mother. Who fed you when you were hungry? Your mother. Your mom would be so pleased if you were kind enough to give her one favor back. She wants to know who you are and what you like. That is just an awful and low thing to say about your very own mom.

So you have imformation about my mother?? If you did then you`d know to ask before you make such a generalised sweeping statement. She has made it clear beyond all doubt since I was a child that I was unwanted, she has constantly caused rows between myself and other sisters, caused gossip in the neighborhood, ignored my birthdays untill finally I scream from the rooftops I`ve had enough...oo yeh, she put two little kids in an orphanage before we came along...they were kinda in the way of her new relationship...our father used to regularly hit us...I dont mean smack I mean HIT!!in your perfect little world the Mother syndrome ranks highest does it?? Our Mother never cuddled us nor kissed us.....open your eyes and you`ll see the damage caused by useless mothers and please thank god you had a decent one because you only know whats good and honest in mothers....if you had mine you`d know all about it.
