I know what that is like and eventually they do say something it just takes patience. hang in there and try to avoid confrintations about it as much as can be expected and it usually works it self out
Thank you, Don't get me wrong for the most part I do like my mother in law. I have always gotten along with her and have even gone on trips together. I think that is where I went wrong though... because now she thinks she is a friend of mine and gives me unwanted and most of the time rude opinions. I feel bad for her in a way because she has 3 sons and one does not bother with her at all, she is divorced and pretty much just has her other two sons and me. I don't want to upset her by telling her off or anything like that. My husband have been very happy besides a few minor things that pretty much don't have to do with us and I don't want to put a wedge between us because of the feelings I have for his mother right now. I did tell him that I was upset with what his mother said to me a few weeks ago, and have had a hard time getting over that. He agreed what she said was crossed the line and I have not mentioned it since. Mostly because like I said before, about putting a wedge bewteen them. So, I will keep my mouth shut for the most part and just keep some distance and maybe she will figure out that I don't want her as a friend or a mother...I have both. I just want her as a mother in law. I limit my own mothers opinions and my own mother knows me enough to know what my limits are until I become upset and say something. Well, again thank you!
