This past July I was in a serious car accident, my siater, and I were seriously injured and my brother who was driving sustained a skull fracture. Thanfully he is doing well as is my sister and I. I was in the back seat and thats were my brother's car was hit. My right leg and arm were fractured and my body hurt everywhere. I woke up already in the hospital and for the next three weeks was prodded and probed by numerous doctors and nurses. I was subjected to some of the most humiliating exams I have ever experienced by doctors and guys who were only doctors assistants. Aside from having my breasts exposed many times because of brusing on my chest I also was subjected to four gyno exams and two rectal exams. I had some blood in my urine for only a few days but they insisted to keep giving me the gyno exams once using a speculum while the doctor and his assitant were both there along with a nurse. I am sure there were at least eight doctors who examined me and I think three others who examined me were assistants. Another thing is that when I was in the hospital there was no such thing as privacy when it came to tests and exams. The way I was carted around in those awful gowns was embarrassing to say the least. As I was waiting to have a cat scan or xray done there were numerous people both male and female in the same room. One day waiting for an xray I was laying on a gurney and didn't realize that the cover wasn't fully over me. I had my knees up slightly and there were four men and two ladies across from me. The one lady whispered to the nurse and the next thing I knew she came over and adjusted the sheet telling me I was exposed. I had been laying there almost fifteen minutes by that time and evidently all four of those men and the two women could see my vagina and most of my ass. I was totally mortified and just closed my eyes almost in tears. I wondered since then how many guys did see me and think there were also male nurses who I was exsposed to. There were so many people in and out of my room I don't know who most of them are or what they were assistants, nurses or doctors. They all had stethiscopes and the first week or so I was hurting so much I didn't care. Once I felt better is when the embarrassment took over and I couldn't wait to get out of there as soon as possible.

Author,
1. Be not ashamed.
2. Be not embarrassed.
3. Be not humiliated.
You are not the first and will not be the last. These Doctors, Assistant Doctors, RN, etc; have seen so many that they probably are looking but not seeing. I know, I am a Corp-Man in the Army and knowing these patients are ill, weak and distressed, although beautiful, I cannot imaging getting excited looking at then nude.

I know it's easy for me to say, but I wouldn't worry too much. The doctors and nurses are there to take care of you. The gowns are designed for easy access, not modesty. I spent a couple of weeks in the hospital on two different occasions, and I remember feeling terrible and struggling to keep the damned gown closed and I limped to the washroom, hanging on the pole carrying the IV bag. More than once a passing nurse told me that I was exposed, but I was struggling too much to care as much as I usually would. The sponge baths were not very dignified either.

I didn't see much of the doctors, but the nurses were excellent. The impression that I got was that they really did care, and that really helped.
