Go up to him and say "I'm sorry about last night - I don't know what came over me. I hope it won't affect how we're able to work together." It may even make him regret his refusal a bit, since you're basically saying you didn't mean to do what you did (even though you did mean it!)
Don't listen to that advice cause it would be showing him your a dishonest person. "Didn't know what came over you," LOL, that's BS; unless you had too much to drink no guy with half a brain is going to believe that, however the part about working together is kewl.
What bugs me is the old double standard. Guys get shot down all the time and that's supposed to be no big deal. Turn down a female and the world just ended for her. Readjust your thinking...its really no big deal.
I agree with 1259, the second person to reply. You should just forget about what happened and try to avoid him as much as possible unless he wants to see you.
Remeber, it's not the end of the world. As 1259 said, when a female turns down a guy, no biggie, but when a male turns down a female, her life is over...it doesn't have to be that way.
I agree with 1259 & 1260! Why should women be the centre of atention? "remeber"? spelling 1260!
I believe there is some sort of "Spell Check Nazi" on this confession board. Possibly lurking in the darker corners of the rooms with his huge dictionary and thesaurus. Then brandishing these with a vengeance on a whim! I also think he carefully checks everyone, frisks they're language so to speak, for grammatical and spelling errors wherever he goes. Of course, he may just be some geeky English teacher with big glasses for all I know! LOL.
